LAHORE – The Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) has dubbed international interest promising in the upcoming 41st International Exhibition of Handmade Carpets, scheduled to take place this October.
In a recent preparatory meeting held at the Association’s office, Chairman Mian Atiq-ur-Rehman and Vice Chairman Riaz Ahmed expressed optimism over the event’s prospects, stating that numerous foreign buyers have already shown strong intent to attend. “The response received so far is highly encouraging, and we are determined to make this prestigious global event a success with the active guidance and support of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP),” they stated.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Exhibition Committee, Riaz Ahmed delivered a detailed briefing on coordination efforts with TDAP, engagement with international buyers, and the overall progress of the exhibition preparations. The session was attended by key industry stakeholders including Patron-in-Chief Abdul Latif Malik, Chairperson of the Carpet Training Institute Ejaz-ur- Rehman, Senior Central Leader Usman Ashraf, Saeed Khan, Major (R) Akhtar Nazir, and several other members.
